The Alaska Kidney Foundation funds organizations addressing the causes of and treatments for kidney disease in Alaska as well as organizations supporting Alaska residents with or at risk of developing kidney disease. Organizations should work to further goals including emergency relief for basic human needs, increasing kidney transplants, early screening, disease prevention education, or empowering patients as knowledgeable health care consumers.
