The Discoveries in Safety Grants program supports innovative research aligned with UL Research Institutes' mission to address critical safety challenges. Through an open and competitive process, researchers can apply for funding of up to $200,000 per year for up to three years across four focus areas: respiratory protection for first responders, energy storage recycling technologies, WUI fire chemical emissions, and mineral fiber emissions from WUI fires.
