Emergency Grants are small, one-time-only awards given to nonprofits, child care centers, and grassroots organizations in Iowa to address immediate emergency needs of the organization to keep them serving their clients. The grants address one of the six barriers to women's economic self-sufficiency and are awarded throughout the calendar year as needed.
