WQRF is seeking proposals to replicate and expand upon the 2009 Energy Savings study on the benefits of water hardness removal. The study aims to provide updated, peer-reviewed data on how softened water improves the performance and longevity of household water heaters, fixtures, and appliances while reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint. Results will support regulatory affairs and public awareness initiatives.
