The Downtown Excelsior Partnership, Inc. (DEP) Facade Grant Program offers matching grants to commercial property owners and/or retail business owners who wish to restore the exteriors of their buildings within the Downtown Excelsior Springs Historic District. Grants cover exterior improvements including signage, awnings, facade restoration, painting, brick/masonry repair, window repairs, and exterior lighting. All grants require a 50% match, with a maximum grant award of $1,000 for signage, $1,500 for awnings, or $2,500 for facade improvements.
