The New York State Tribute Foundation offers reimbursement grants to support aspiring funeral service professionals in offsetting the cost of registering for and taking the National Board Exam (NBE). Eligible applicants must be current student members of the New York State Funeral Directors Association who have graduated from an accredited mortuary science program, reside in New York, have passed the NBE within 12 months of graduation, and intend to work as a licensed funeral director in New York.
