Schmidt Ocean Institute solicits Expressions of Interest (EOI) for collaborative, multidisciplinary oceanographic research expeditions aboard R/V Falkor (too). SOI provides free access to the vessel's full scientific capabilities, facilities, equipment, and technical support. Investigators are responsible for funding salaries, travel, shipping, and research analysis, with limited support available for robotic platforms, sensors, instrumentation, and high-performance computing. EOIs and full proposals are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed twice per year.
